"We Weren't Born To Follow"

"We Weren't Born To Follow" is the title announced today for the new "Bon Jovi" album. The realease date is slated for on or around November 10th. The almbum has been quoted to be louder, heavier, and much more guitar oriented so this is good for those of you (like me) who loved the old hevier Bon Jovi.

Activison is offering up a deal to those purchasing Guitar Hero 5 in September. Anyone who buys the game withtin the USA will get a coupon to recieve a free copy of Guitar Hero: Van Halen. for more information go here.

"Them Crooked Vultures" first show

First off welcome to Rock News with Alex this is my first blog post.

Dave Grohls new supergroup "Them Crooked Vultures" consisting of Grohl on drums Queens of The Stone Age's Josh Holmes on guitar and vocals, and Led Zeppelins John Paul Jones on bass and keyboards. There album will be debuting this fall.

Last Sundays "Nickelback" concert at the Molson Ampitheater the show has been cancelled. Shortly before "Nickelback" was about to enter the stage a massive storm loomed over the crowd. Chad walked out onto stage and told anyone in the Lawn section to find shelter until the storm left, but alas it never did and he ended by telling the audience the show would be postponed. However the show has now officially been cancelled and everyone will be reciving there money back.

"Jet" lead singer Nic Cester passed out on stage last night at The Hard Rock Cafe. Nic had comlained about not feeling well all day but he insisted on continuing with the show.
